UNIIQU3: JERSEY’S REIGNING PRODUCER
Often dubbed the queen of of Jersey club music, producer-meets-DJ-meets-vocalist Uniiqu3 put New Jersey on the map for hip-hop and dance music culture. Once the nation realized the distinctive creativity of Jersey club music, Uniiqu3 was well-known within the genre, and she received her long overdue recognition. She has mastered producing and mixing almost every type of music genre, and her creations never disappoint.
She started as a dancer, then moved to DJ, then producer, then rapper. Uniiqu3 knows how to put in work, and she does it with contagious vivacity; perhaps that is why she is at her best when performing live in front of an audience. Energy palpable and deep bass vibrations unmistakeable, it is no wonder Uniiqu3 is a Jersey favorite.
Her fresh production skill and her idiosyncratic style are topped off with confident, bold rapping. She has played festival stages across the globe, and recently has toured with rapper Dai Burger on their Nailz N Ponytailz tour.

The duo is electric and empowering, and they found each other by wanting to collaborate with more women of color artists. When asked “why did you decide to go on tour with each other?” by FADER Magazine, the rapper and producer answered:
DAI BURGER: “We just both represent the same thing. It’s like female empowerment.”
UNIIQU3: “I just felt like in the DJ world we never really get to see black girl tours with dance music. And, Dai is very much is as energetic as me, so we’re poppin’ tourmates. There just needs to be more cute, black, Afrocentric, feminist tours.”

It should come as no surprise, then, that both Uniique and Dai Burger are constantly collaborating with women artists of all kinds. Uniiqu3 has worked alongside creatives such as Madame Gandhi, TT The Artist, Anna Lunoe, Discwoman, and The Factory Girls. She uses her music for advocacy, alliance, and empowerment; her music recognizes and celebrates queer culture. At each of her performances, she seeks to cultivate a space of inclusion, safety, uniqueness, and positivity.
Uniiqu3 recently played the Holy Ship! electronic dance music festival held on a cruise ship, and she was the first black female DJ to do so! There is no end in sight for this emerging multi-talented creative. Get to know her more below:
